What is Biseptine Cica healing gel used for?
A medical device designed to accelerate healing and also act as a barrier to protect damaged skin.
Healing an acute wound, whether traumatic or surgical, is achieved through wound healing. After an injury to the skin, wound healing initiates a process of tissue repair and regeneration. It's a natural, dynamic process that goes through different phases. Successful completion of each phase is essential to ensure the formation of a high-quality scar that does not impair the function or aesthetic appearance of the injured site.
Normal scarring takes place in two main stages:
- Formation of the primary scar
- Scar maturation
Biseptine Cica is a healing hydrogel for superficial wounds. Its 4-in-1 formula promotes healing, relieves pain, protects and reduces scar formation.
How does it work?
- It forms a protective barrier thanks to the gel'socclusive effect, which helps prevent infection and reduces the need for dressings, and also thanks to the gel's slightly acidic pH, which reduces the risk of microbial proliferation.
- It accelerates healing by acting on the microenvironment (optimal moisture level) created in the wound.
- It reduces the risk of scarring thanks to its "intelligent" hydrogel galenic formulation, providing an optimal moisture balance in the wound and thuspreventing the formation of scabs that cause scarring.
- Its cooling effect provides immediate pain relief.
We also offer Homeopathic Sunburn Kit Phlyctenes, at the best price in our online pharmacy.

Our professional advice and the opinions of natural health experts
To heal properly, it's important to clean the wound thoroughly. If the wound is superficial (a scratch or abrasion) or shallow ("bleeding" at the junction of the epidermis), disinfect with an antiseptic before applying an antibacterial cream. If necessary, apply a bandage, especially on blisters or in the event of blood circulation problems. Above all, avoid the sun. To avoid the appearance of a brown spot caused by inflammation, don't expose the injured area between 10.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., and protect it with sunscreen as soon as you go out.
