The appearance of oily dandruff is the result of abnormal functioning of your scalp's epidermis. Repeated use of aggressive shampoos, blow-drying and coloring can irreparably damage your hair. The dermis of your scalp reacts by producing either oily or dry dandruff.

Oily dandruff appears on scalps that are too oily, and sticks to the head in patches. These patches, stuck in seborrhea, encourage the formation of bacteria and often lead to irritation and severe itching. Not to be confused with scalp psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis, which are far more incapacitating conditions.

The solution is to cleanse and purify the scalp. To do this, you can use essential oils.
