What is Viatris Cranberry Urinary comfort 20 capsules used for?

Viatris Cranberry Urinary Comfort 20 capsules is a food supplement intended for the well-being of the urinary tract . Its formula is composed of Cranberry extract, a berry rich in antioxidants and renowned for its beneficial action on the urinary tract.

The different symptoms of a urinary tract infection can be:

  • Frequent and/or intense need to urinate
  • Burning sensation when urinating
  • Pain or pressure in the lower back or abdomen
  • Cloudy, dark, or odd-smelling urine
  • Symptoms of shaking or feeling tired
  • Fever or chills, nausea and vomiting

Cranberries contain compounds called proanthocyanidins , which are said to prevent E. coli bacteria from attaching to the lining of the urethra as well as the bladder.

Therefore, if bacteria cannot attach to tissues, then they are unable to multiply and cause infection.
