Description and indications of DAFALGAN Paracetamol 500mg 16 capsules

DAFALGAN 500 mg is an easy-to-swallow capsule medication . In addition, it is recommended for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or feverish states .

Pain and fever are common ailments, they are not considered dangerous to health. In fact, they are simply signals that the body sends to show you that something is wrong.
Paracetamol is an antipyretic active ingredient, ie it helps to lower fever. It also relieves pain : It is an analgesic.

Directions for use of DAFALGAN Paracetamol 500mg 16 capsules

Dosage and route of administration

Adult: 500 mg to 1 g, 1 to 3 times a day. Do not exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day without medical advice.

In severe pain in adults and in particular in osteoarthritis, the maximum dosage can be increased to 1 g of paracetamol, 4 times a day, only on medical prescription.

Child: 60 mg per kg per day, i.e. 15 mg per kg every 6 hours, or 10 mg per kg every 4 hours. It is necessary to choose a suitable presentation and to follow the recommendations of your pharmacist or your doctor. For a child of 30 kg and over: 1 tablet of 500 mg, 4 times a day.

The maximum daily dose of paracetamol in children is 80 mg per kg, in at least 4 doses, without exceeding 3 g per day for children weighing more than 41 kg.

Active substance: Paracetamol. No common excipient.

Contraindication and warning

Allergy to paracetamol or other constituents; hepatocellular insufficiency. DAFALGAN capsule is a medicine containing paracetamol. It is absolutely necessary to avoid overdose by checking the absence of paracetamol in the composition of other drugs. The maximum recommended dose should not be exceeded. Taking the drug DALFAGAN in capsule form is possible during pregnancy and breastfeeding under normal conditions of use.
