What are Compeed callus plasters used for?
A callus is a thickening of the surface layer of the skin, the epidermis. In most cases, the callus is located on the sole of the foot, sometimes on the palm of the hand. A benign condition, calluses can nevertheless cause real discomfort when walking, and can even become infected and require surgery.
Give your calluses fast relief and effective healing with Compeed Durillons Bandages Box of 6. Hydrocolloid technology, long-lasting adhesion and guaranteed discretion. Compeed Durillons Bandages Box of 6 can be used on an already formed callus. It then acts like a second skin, preserving the skin's natural moisture and helping to :
- Protect against rubbing and pressure from shoes, with a cushioning effect.
- Instantly soothe pain
- Moisturize and soften calluses, encouraging their elimination.
- Remains in place for more than 24 hours.
Can also be used as a preventive measure, especially with tight shoes, to help prevent callus formation.

The main cause of corns and calluses is repeated rubbing of the skin on the shoe, but deformities of the foot can also lead to the appearance of corns. In fact, an unbalanced foot or an angular forefoot leads to friction that encourages corns.
Friction and/or excessive pressure on the bones of the foot thicken the corns by stimulating the production of the epidermis' main protein, keratin. In addition to the pain andthickening of the skin caused by corns and calluses, they can also lead to claudication, load-shifting responsible for bone and joint disorders, and suppuration linked to infection of the bursa located under the corns or under the area of friction.
We also offer Compeed Stick for prevention of blisters and friction, at the best price in our online pharmacy.
How do I use these dressings?
- Soften the skin by immersing your foot in warm water and remove calloused skin by rubbing with a towel.
- Clean and dry your skin.
- Remove the protective paper, avoiding touching the adhesive.
- Place the bandage firmly on the callus, ensuring that the edges are flattened.
- Leave the bandage in place until it peels off on its own. It can remain in place for several days.
- For best results, repeat the treatment until the skin is completely healed.
