Lansoyl is a drug indicated for the symptomatic treatment of occasional constipation in adults. Paraffin is by mechanical action in the colonic contents lubricant and stool softener.
For warnings, precautions for use and contraindications, please consult the instructions for use.
The causes of constipation are multiple and most often not serious. And, fortunately, simple lifestyle measures are often very effective in dealing with this very feminine condition.
Some constipation is caused by a slowdown in the progression of food along the colon (large intestine). In others, there are difficulties in evacuating stool from the rectum (terminal part of the colon) and anus ("terminal constipation").
Indications
LANSOYL is a medication indicated for the symptomatic treatment of occasional constipation in adults . Paraffin acts mechanically by lubricating the colonic content and softening the stool.
Constipation: why are women more susceptible to it ?
The answer is in one word: hormone . Progesterone tends to decrease the contractility of the intestinal muscles. During menstruation, during pregnancy or at the time of menopause, women are more prone to transit problems. Some also refer to a longer female colon than that of men to explain this "laziness". Finally, stress, to which they are often sensitive, can also block transit.
Usual adult dose: 1 unit dose to be renewed if necessary 1 to 3 times a day. Child dose: according to medical advice. Oral use.
