Insupen Insulin Injection Needle Gauge31 5mm x100 for blood glucose monitoring

Sterile single-use ultrafine needles for insulin injection pens.

What is Insupen Insulin Injection Needle used for?

Insupen pen needles are equipped with Pic needles, they offer painless technology. The outside diameter is reduced, the walls are thinner and the lubricating treatment allows the Insupen pen needles to perform a comfortable injection and without pain . Insupen is a range of pen needles complete in diameter and length and can be used with any injection technique.

Technical characteristics of the range:

  • Triple sharpening facilitates penetration cutaneous in order to reduce pain.
  • Lubricating treatment allows the reduction of the resistance to the penetration of the needle.
  • The larger inner diameter allows you to increase insulin flow, thus reducing the injection time.
  • The tip for penetrating the insulin cartridge cap is designed with anti-corrosion treatment, which facilitates the insertion of the needle and reduces the release of fragments inside the cartridge.

The pen needle is a sterile disposable device; it must therefore be changed after each injection, otherwise you risk:

  • Incorrect dosing. Keeping the needle on the pen between injections can change the composition of the insulin.
  • Air enters the cartridge through the needle. Air bubbles reduce insulin flow during injection, with the risk of a reduced dose of the drug.
  • crystallization of insulin. If the needle is left on the pen, the insulin inside the pen turns into crystals and partially or completely clogs the needle, making injection difficult or impossible.
  • Get infections. Once used, the pen needle is no longer sterile.
  • Feel a more painful injection. During the injection, the lubricant on the needle is removed and the tip of the needle undergoes a progressive deformation.
  • Insupen pen needles conform to Type A EN ISO 11608-2:2000. They are therefore compatible with all insulin pens available on the market that also comply with this standard.

How to properly use Insupen Insulin Injection Needle 31 Gauge 5mm?

The anti-fragmentation treatment of the cartridge tip allows perfect perforation of the cork. The insulin thus flows without impurities.
