What is Advantage 80 Cat Rabbit used for?
Fleas are the main ectoparasites found in domestic cats and rabbits of all species. Their presence can manifest itself in mild to intense itching, allergic dermatitis (hypersensitivity reaction to flea saliva), and infestations of Dipylidium intestinal worms.
Advantage 80 for Cat & Rabbit prevents and treats your domestic cat or rabbit weighing less than 4 kg against flea infestations. This anti-parasitic product is suitable for cats over 8 months of age. Fleas are killed one day after treatment. A single treatment prevents re-infestation by fleas for 3 to 4 weeks in cats and up to a week in rabbits. The drug can be incorporated into a treatment program for flea-bite allergic dermatitis (FAD) in cats, following diagnosis by a veterinarian.
Advantage 80 Cats & Rabbits Spot-On Solution 0.8 ml is an innovative treatment designed to provide effective protection against fleas and other external parasites. Specially formulated for cats and rabbits, this product ensures rapid and prolonged action to keep your pet healthy and parasite-free.
In addition to its effectiveness and ease of use, Advantage 80 is also appreciated for its skin tolerance. Unlike some treatments that can cause irritation or allergic reactions, this solution is generally well tolerated, even by animals with sensitive skin. This means you can use it with confidence, without fear of causing your pet discomfort.
We also offer Advantix flea pipettes for medium-sized dogs from the Elanco veterinary laboratory, at the best price in our online pharmacy.
How to use these pipettes
Remove one pipette from the packaging.
Hold the pipette upright, turn and pull the cap.
Use the cap upside down to screw and perforate the pipette orifice.
Administration in cats: Part the hair at the base of the cat's neck so that the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
Administration in rabbits: Part the hair at the base of the rabbit's neck so that the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
All species: The product has a bitter taste and may occasionally cause salivation if the animal licks itself at the application site immediately after treatment. This is not a sign of intoxication, and disappears within a few minutes, without any treatment.
Applying the product at the base of the neck minimizes the risk of licking at the application site.
Apply the product to healthy skin. Ensure that recently treated animals do not lick each other.
