Your expert pharmacist's advice

Red, itchy patches... psoriasis affects around 3 million French people. But all too often, psoriasis is confused with other skin problems. Nearly three million French people are thought to be affected.

Immunological mechanisms are involved in the onset of psoriasis. A disturbance in the immune system causes skin cells to be produced too quickly. As with many illnesses, stress or a violent psychological shock is a major risk factor in the onset of psoriasis.

  • Water that's too hot is the enemy of psoriatic, eczematous, irritated or delicate scalps. Wash your hair in lukewarm water.
  • In our experience, conditioners, styling foams, gels and hairsprays can often cause reactions on sensitive or psoriatic scalps. Avoid them or choose them with care.
