This Berocca Energie medication Without sugars Effervescent tablets contains magnesium, calcium, zinc and vitamins B and C. These mineral elements and these vitamins are essential for metabolism .

Berocca Energie Without sugars Effervescent tablets is used in the treatment of magnesium deficiencies and in the event of symptoms which can evoke a lack of magnesium :

• irritability,
• transient fatigue,
• minor sleep disturbances,
• palpitations,
• muscle cramps,
• tingling.

Intake of magnesium can improve these symptoms.

Directions for use of Berocca Energie in Effervescent Tablets

For adults (from 15 years) and in a 30-day treatment : at the first symptoms suggestive of a magnesium deficiency (temporary fatigue, whether physical or mental ...).

A balanced and diverse diet usually provides sufficient amounts of vitamins and minerals. The prolonged use of vitamins is not justified without medical advice.
Under treatment, the dark yellow coloration of the urine is normal: it is due to vitamin B2.

Contraindications of the drug Berocca Energie
This medication should not be used in the following cases :

• severe kidney failure,
• excess calcium in the blood or urine,
• calcium lithiasis,
• phenylketonuria (effervescent tablets: presence of aspartame).

Please note, vitamin C is degraded in the body to oxalic acid, which can promote the formation of stones in the urinary tract. Do not take a large dose of vitamin C for a long time without medical advice.
The amount of vitamin B12 in this medicine is insufficient to treat anemia due to a deficiency in this vitamin.

Interactions of the drug Berocca Energie with other substances
Take an interval of at least 2 hours between taking this medication and taking cyclins, biphosphonates or iron-containing medications.

combination with levodopa (a medicine used to treat Parkinson's disease),
severe renal failure (failure of kidney functions),
hypercalcemia (abnormally high level of calcium in the blood),
hypercalciuria (abnormally high level of calcium in the urine),
calcium lithiasis (renal calculus),
history of allergy to one of the constituents,
