What is Nat & Form Spirulina Bio in Eco tablets used for?

Nat & Form Eco-Responsible Spirulina Bio Tonus is a dietary supplement providing 500 mg of spirulina powder per tablet.

Spirulina is a freshwater algae, a natural source of protein that helps strengthen the body's defenses and combat temporary fatigue. Nat & Form states on its 100% recyclable packaging that this dietary supplement helps improve tone and vitality.

Spirulina is not a plant, but a micro-organism from the cyanobacteria family. This freshwater microalga is a veritable concentrate of nutrients. Rich in protein (at least 60%) and phycocyanin (an antioxidant), it contains other nutrients that are particularly useful for boosting energy and vitality.

Spirulina provides all the ingredients needed to stay in shape, supplement a deficient diet, support the body during adolescent growth spurts, convalescence, improve low morale, provide support in times of stress, boost energy during periods of fatigue and between seasons, boost the performance of athletes, keep people with anorexic tendencies and the elderly in shape... Spirulina contains a high quantity of protein, which is very rare in the plant world: around 60 to 70% of good-quality, easily-assimilable protein. All the amino acids are present, especially the essential ones, which the body cannot produce and which must be supplied by the diet. Its vitamin, mineral and nutrient content is quite exceptional in relation to its dry weight. Iron and vitamins B9 and B12 are also present, helping to correct iron deficiencies.

Spirulina, named for its spiral shape, is a freshwater algae considered a superfood. It consists mainly of proteins and amino acids (including the 8 essential amino acids). It's a natural concentrate of vitamins, minerals, polyunsaturated fatty acids and various carotenoids. Spirulina contains antioxidants that help protect the body against the consequences of oxidative stress. It helps maintain the immune system thanks to the presence of phycocyanin, a powerful immune system stimulant. It helps improve tone and vitality, ideal for temporary fatigue.

Phycocyanin, extracted from spirulina, is a molecule that colors the cyanobacteria group with a blue pigment, representing 10-15% of the dry weight of these algae. Phycocyanin stimulates the production and circulation of stem cells and can, for example, strongly activate the synthesis of red and white blood cells. Phycocyanin is therefore a particularly valuable nutrient to help revitalize a weakened body. In cases of degenerative, viral or autoimmune diseases, and of course, as a preventive measure, to forestall premature tissue ageing due to cellular oxidative stress, which produces destructive free radicals.
