Elugel oral gel from Pierre Fabre laboratories is composed of 0.2% chlorhexidine digluconate, which is a broad spectrum antiseptic that works by altering the proteins of bacterial membranes. Chlorhexidine and the salts it contains are therefore very effective against bacteria and have the advantage of having a long-lasting effect on the oral mucosa and teeth, without being absorbed by the human body. It is primarily intended to reduce the proliferation of dental plaque and bacteria, which allows effective tooth hygiene with healthy gums and, to a lesser extent, to fight against bad breath.
The Pierre Fabre laboratories, at the origin of Elugel oral gel, have as main concern to provide a medical solution adapted to each oral problem. In this sense, they rely on the expertise of oral health professionals to develop quality products that are safe and reliable at the same time.
