The action of eucalyptus globulus against viruses:

  • It is active against HSV-1 and HSV-2 at 0.009% and 0.008% respectively.
  • It is effective as an aerosol disinfectant against influenza A and E. coli phage M13. Coli phage. It is capable ofinactivating viruses by more than 95% within 5 to 15 min of exposure (cf. study 5).
