DEXERYL emollient and moisturizing cream without prescription 250G PIERRE FABRE for the face and the body, in the event of eczema , sunburn or atopic dermatitis .
DEXERYL cream 500G is used in the adjunct treatment of dry skin (especially in the event of eczema, atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis or psoriasis) and small superficial burns (sunburn).
Eczema is an itchy dermatosis characterized by non-contagious inflammation of the skin that is accompanied by redness, fine blisters, scales and itching. It can start very early in life, and is seen even in infants. People with the condition have periods commonly known as "eczema flares", during which symptoms get worse. These outbreaks, of varying duration, are interspersed with periods of remission. Eczema is often associated with asthma or various allergic reactions.
Lesions of irritant dermatitis are secondary to skin contact with an irritant. They are characterized by lesions of very variable appearance, ranging from simple redness to the formation of bubbles or even necrosis, accompanied by pruritus, tingling or a burning sensation.
Treatment for irritative dermatitis can be done with emollient and moisturizing creams . But it is of course necessary, after having identified them with the aid of patch tests, to avoid any contact with irritants. When symptoms are severe and widespread, the treating physician will prescribe cortisone products or oral corticosteroids. Applying moist creams or compresses can relieve itching. It is also advisable to favor the wearing of cotton clothes and especially to avoid synthetic or woolen clothes.
