More details
Paracetamol, whose International Nonproprietary Name (INN) is acetaminophen, is the most widely used pain reliever. It helps relieve many types of pain (headaches, toothaches, joint pain, flu-like symptoms, painful periods, etc.). It is also effective against fever.
Nearly 200 medications containing paracetamol—either alone or in combination with other substances—are available at pharmacies in France: Doliprane®, Dafalgan®, Efferalgan®, Fervex®, Prontalgine®, and others. Most are available without a prescription. When used occasionally, for a short period of time, and in accordance with the recommended dosage, acetaminophen is a safe pain reliever. Order your acetaminophen without a prescription from your online organic pharmacy.
Paracetamol is the active ingredient in a number of medications classified as non-salicylate analgesics and antipyretics. This substance is indicated for treating fever and moderate to severe pain. Find generic acetaminophen and formulations combined with other active ingredients at Soin et Nature.
No medications will be shipped outside of France. Available for pickup only at the pharmacy in Perpignan (France).
Paracetamol is the first-line treatment for fever, as well as for mild to moderate pain. It is also indicated for flu-like symptoms, toothaches, muscle aches, and the treatment of osteoarthritis.
The usual recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg/kg/day, divided into 4 or 6 doses, which is about 15 mg/kg every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg every 4 hours.
Be sure to always take this medication exactly as described in this package insert or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. Check with your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse if you have any questions.
This formulation is intended for adults and children weighing 50 kg or more (approximately 15 years of age or older).
The dose of acetaminophen depends on the child’s weight; ages are provided for informational purposes only.
If you do not know the child’s weight, weigh them to determine the most appropriate dose.
Paracetamol is available in a variety of strengths, allowing the treatment to be tailored to each child’s weight.
The usual recommended daily dose of acetaminophen is approximately 60 mg/kg/day, divided into 4 or 6 doses, which is approximately 15 mg/kg every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg every 4 hours.
Warning: This formulation contains 1,000 mg of acetaminophen per tablet: do not take 2 tablets at once.
The usual dosage is 1 tablet (1 g) per dose, to be repeated as needed after at least 4 hours.
It is generally not necessary to exceed 3 g of acetaminophen per day, or 3 tablets per day.
However, in cases of more severe pain, and on the advice of your doctor, the total dose may be increased to up to 4 g per day, or 4 tablets per day.
Always allow at least a 4-hour interval between doses.
In cases of severe kidney disease (severe renal insufficiency), doses should be spaced 8 hours apart, and the total dose should not exceed 3 tablets per day (3 g).
The maximum daily dose must not exceed 60 mg/kg/day (not to exceed 3 g/day) in the following situations:

The only contraindication for acetaminophen is severe liver disease.
It is generally well tolerated and very rarely causes side effects (primarily allergic skin reactions and a decrease in blood platelet count).
However, caution is needed when using it, as many medications contain acetaminophen, and taking multiple medications containing it at the same time can lead to an overdose that may cause serious liver damage. The misuse of acetaminophen is the leading cause of medication-induced liver transplants in France. It is therefore particularly important to adhere to the recommended doses and the recommended duration of treatment. The risk of liver toxicity is increased in certain situations: malnutrition, dehydration, alcohol dependence, viral hepatitis, and in individuals weighing less than 50 kg.

Paracetamol is indicated for mild to moderate pain and fever (joint pain such as osteoarthritis, back pain, and fever associated with the flu). However, acetaminophen is not suitable for treating inflammatory pain, as it has no anti-inflammatory effect.
